Walmart Shadow Anchored Portfolio – 46 properties in 22 States (majority located in Michigan, Indiana and throughout the Midwest) - The acquisition and disposition of a portfolio of 46 retail shopping centers located primarily on outlots in front of Walmart Supercenters. Tenants included CATO, Dollar Tree, Fashion Bug, Radio Shack, Starbucks, and others. The properties ranged in size from 7,500 to 35,000 sf.

Jeff Rothbard is Managing Director of CRE Midwest office located in Carmel, IN. Jeff has more than 30 years’ experience in retail real estate and has closed transactions with clients, such as, Walmart, Home Depot, Walgreen’s Drug Store, Costco, Starbucks, Rite Aid Drug Store, Office Depot, Costco, Wendy’s, Del Taco, Chick-Fil-A, Brinker International (Chili’s), KIMCO Realty, Macerich, Regency Centers, and General Growth Properties among others. He has worked with institutional and private investors and banks, such as Roy Disney’s Genesis Fund, Johnson Clayton Trust (owned in part by Magic Johnson), RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland), Inland Properties, and PNC Bank. During his 25 year career, Jeff has acquired and sold over $500 million of investment real estate. Early in his career, Jeff stated his career working for retailers such as Payless ShoeSource, Book Market and Clothestime Stores as a Real Estate Manger. Jeff has been a guest lecturer at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).
Laurie obtained extensive experience working at Merrill Lynch for over 8 years as the Assistant to the Midwest Market Head and overseeing a office of over 150 people. Laure also as worked for a local family law firm as the office manager where she was responsible for the day-to-day operation and overseeing a staff of 25 Lawyers and support staff. As head of the marketing department, she will oversee all communications, public relations and promotional activities required to support the brand and provide the highest quality service to our clients.This includes design, production and distribution of print materials such as brochures, ads and direct response. She will also be responsible for providing our clients with monthly marketing updates, overseeing the website and all marketing campaign
Matt’s entrepreneurial experience as a business owner for over 10 years, in addition to his experience as a PR Director/Marketing Manager and Customer Service Representative in banking, allows him to bring a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of business transactions. His leadership abilities, strong work ethic, and great enthusiasm as a quick learner are key components by of his work at CRE. Matt specializes in office, retail leasing and investment sales for clients throughout the surrounding Indianapolis area and multiple other markets in the Midwest. Matt strives to deliver high client value by leveraging a combination of market knowledge, transactional experience, financial analysis tools and negotiation expertise. He wants to be successful in assisting his clients with meeting their real estate portfolio objectives in the most cost-effective manner. Matt’s key objective rests with the value he provides in obtaining the maximum financial outcome for his clients with a quick response, with very little hassle, being reliable, and delivering as promised.
